Why Education Is Important For Girls | Digital TK

Here a Big question comes in our mind that why we should support girl education?

Right?

In this blog, we are going to tell some important reasons for the importance of girls education.

As we all know that in India “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Abhiyan” is already on the track.

But what is the need for introducing this plan in India for promotion of Indian girls education rather than boys?

Co-founder Greg Mortenson tells that

“Once you educate the boys, they often leave the villages and search for work in the cities, but the girls stay home, become leaders in the community, and pass their knowledge onto their own children. If you really want to empower societies, reduce poverty, improve basic hygiene and health care, reduce the population explosion, and fight high rates of infant and maternal mortality, the answer is to educate girls.”

This is the reason that’s why we should promote girls education in your community and surroundings which will help your state, country in many manners.

These are some reasons due to which we have to promote girls education in your society-

Reduce Infant Mortality

Infant mortality is a rate of children who died less than in one year.

If we will promote girls education then this rate will be minimised and many children can be saved by having a proper education to nurture child under age 1.

Afghanistan has the highest infant mortality rate which is 121 children in thousand children born.

Reduce Maternal Mortality

Education is very necessary for protecting mother health while pregnant or after the child born.

Education can reduce this maternal mortality and help different mothers of society to have better health.

In maternal mortality, Afghanistan is number one with stats of 460 female in 1 lakh female and in number 2 it is Pakistan which is 260 females in per 100000 females.

We also know that these country have the worst literacy rate in the whole world which indicate that literacy is very much important for reducing the maternal mortality rate.

Improve Economic Growth

The survey states that a woman has a better charge to escape poverty and live a better life than a man that’s why we have to focus on the women education to have a better community in our country.

According to the World Bank if we will increase Secondary Education of women by 1% then this increase per capita income of countries by 0.3%.

So imagine if we will focus on women education beyond the limit then what is the effect of this on our per capita income of the country which is the sign of the growth of any country.

This will be fantastic!

Reduces Child Marriage

Due to lack of education in India in many country child marriages is very popular.

But nowadays this trend is becoming faded because the education system is changed a lot from the past because female are also educating with males which result reduced in child marriages.

So to stop or reduce child marriage education for any female or woman is very much necessary because this affects a lot to society and to the country also.

Reduce The Population Of Society Or Country

We know that literacy plays a very vital role in controlling the population of your country.

One study shows that in Brazil literate women have an average of 2.5 children where illiterate women have an average of 6 children.

This makes us clear that literacy has a very big role in controlling the population.

Education helps female and male in many ways to opt for a different kind of medical method to control birth.

Afghanistan is also leading here and having a total population growth of 3% per year with of Pakistan having 2% annual growth.

Reduce Domestic and Sexual Violence

An educated girl has a less chance to have domestic violence and sexual harassment by their family or any other people of society.

And if a girl is educated and being a victim of domestic violence or sexual violence she will have the power to report and raise her voice in the public to have justice.

These are some reason to support girl education in any country it may be developed, developing or underdeveloped country.

Without girl education, our society cannot grow which will result to have more violence, more health, problems and more poverty.

Support girl education in India or in any country wherever you are reading this blog post you have a beautiful surrounding and have a beautiful country.
